Reggie Wayne was apparently so moved by trumpeter Chris Botti’s rendition of the national anthem on Monday night that he shed a tear or two.

Before kickoff between the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants, Botti’s gave an incredibly powerful and unique version of Francis Scott Key’s timeless overture. Botti won a Grammy in 2013 and has had his albums reach No. 1 on Billboard’s jazz charts four times.

Wayne’s tears are not the first to come from a player during the opening ceremonies. Back in December of 2013 Knowshon Moreno was filmed crying before a game during the anthem and it quickly turned into an Internet meme.

Kudos to Wayne for still bringing passion to the game after 14 seasons.
