DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – When it comes to politics, everyone has something to say.
In Delray Beach, Tuesday morning, people expressed their feelings on politics when asked “what is your biggest complaint about politics?”
Trial lawyer, David Zappitell says “discourse.”
“Discourse among politicians and politicians placing their own interest over the public’s interest,” he says.
One man says his biggest complaint was lying. “They’re all liars. You can’t trust politicians at all,” says Chris Kiddoo of Delray Beach.
Tony Ramudo sells solar panels. His biggest complaint is inconsistency. “My biggest complaint would have to be following up on the promises that they say they’re actually going to do. In our generation, I feel like we get sold on a lot of ideas and those ideas don’t ever come to fruition,” Ramudo says.
Ramudo’s co-worker, Michael Vergona, says his biggest complaint is lack of transparency. “I’d really like to just get a narrowed down version of everyone’s views and stance on what they like, what they don’t like, what they’re going to do and what they’re not going to do,” Vergona says.
There were many other complaints found on the streets of Delray Beach. Some say they’d prefer more selection in candidates. Others say those in politics should learn how to conserve money better.
